Academic Calendar
Education goes beyond textbooks and classrooms. We believe in empowering students to explore their passions challenge conventions.
Overview
River Mount provides an academic calendar to help students, applicants, and academic staff understand important planning dates. The calendar includes general admission deadlines, start dates, and end dates for standard academic terms.
This calendar is mainly used for institutional planning and for future academic programs that are currently under review by the appropriate regulatory authority. River Mount will use the official academic calendar for those programs only after the required authorization or approval process is completed.
River Mount currently offers certificate programs. These certificate programs do not always follow the standard semester schedule shown below. Certificate programs may begin through separate cohorts or program-specific schedules. Students should check the individual certificate program page to confirm the exact start date, enrollment period, class schedule, and completion timeline for that specific program.
Important Note About Certificate Program Schedules
The certificate programs at River Mount are career-focused programs and are generally completed within a focused period of study. However, they are not necessarily limited to the standard Spring, Summer, and Fall semester structure.
Each certificate program may have its own start date, class schedule, enrollment deadline, and cohort plan. For example, Software Test Engineering, Advanced Data Analyst, DevOps Engineering, Cloud Engineering, IT Business Analyst, Professional Scrum Master, Cybersecurity Analyst, and IT Product Management may follow separate program schedules based on availability and cohort planning.
Students who are interested in a certificate program should visit the specific program page or contact River Mount for the most current schedule information.
Standard Academic Calendar Structure
River Mount maintains a standard academic calendar structure for planning purposes. The standard structure includes three academic terms each year:
| Term | General Period |
|---|---|
| Spring Semester | January to April |
| Summer Semester | May to August |
| Fall Semester | September to December |
This structure helps River Mount plan academic activities, future program schedules, administrative deadlines, student onboarding, and institutional operations.

Admission Deadline
The admission deadline is the recommended last date for submitting an application and completing the required enrollment steps for a standard academic term. Students who apply before the deadline have more time to complete document submission, payment processing, academic advising, onboarding, and learning system access.
For certificate programs, the admission deadline may be different from the dates shown in the standard academic calendar. Each certificate program page will provide the applicable enrollment deadline and class start information.
Semester Start Date
The semester start date is the planned beginning of a standard academic term. For future academic programs under regulatory review, this date may be used to organize orientation, academic advising, course access, student communication, and learning activities after the programs receive the required authorization.
For current certificate programs, the start date may vary by program and cohort. Students should not assume that every certificate program begins on the standard semester start date.
Semester End Date
The semester end date is the planned completion date for a standard academic term. Students in future approved academic programs may be expected to complete required coursework, assessments, projects, or other academic activities by the published deadline.
For certificate programs, completion dates may vary based on the specific program structure, cohort schedule, and course requirements. Program-specific completion details will be provided on the individual certificate program page or through official River Mount communication.
